Four time Olympian and Harvard graduate, Angela Ruggiero is in the running for seat on IOC Board. Ruggiero, 30, is seeking to become the third IOC member from the U.S., joining Jim Easton and Anita DeFrantz.

“This is the perfect position for me,” Ruggiero said after Wednesday’s practice at the UBC Thunderbird Arena. “I want to be able to not only represent my country and my sport but also be a voice to all athletes.”

Congratulations to the US Women's Hockey Team kicking off the 2010 Olympic Winter Games with a strong showing against China, winning 12-1 to tie a U.S. record for goals scored in a game.
