ski like a girl is not skiing!!!

Due to my recent shoulder injury I'm off the slopes for (I hope) just a few short weeks. In an effort to distract myself from the torture of winter happening without me I've found a new challenge. The 7th Turbulence Training 12-Week Transformation Contest. Click here for a peek at The Rules.
Here's the deal on Turbulence Training.
"With Craig Ballantyne's Revolutionary Turbulence Training System, You Can Now Lose Fat While Gaining Muscle At The Same Time With Just 3 Short, (But Intense) Workouts A Week"

Craig Ballantyne is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist and writes for Men's Health, Men's Fitness, Maximum Fitness, Muscle and Fitness Hers, and Oxygen magazines. His trademarked Turbulence Training fat loss workouts have been featured multiple times in Men’s Fitness and Maximum Fitness magazines, and have helped thousands of men and women around the world lose fat, gain muscle, and get lean in less than 45 minutes three times per week. "Say Goodbye To Long, Slow Boring Cardio Exercises and Start Incinerating Maximum Fat In Minimum Time With Killer Workouts You Can Do In The Privacy Of Your Own Home In 45 Minutes Or Less.."

Although I don't think long, slow Cardio is boring. I'm a huge fan of the long run and the long bike and the long swim. And of course once my shoulder is healed I will get back to those. (I am training for a 1/2 Ironman). Although I will admit that long slow cardio has made me good at well long slow cardio. And to improve my race times I need to add in more speed work and intervals in all three disciplines. My main reason for committing to the Contest is that I have hit a plateau and haven't been seeing the results I'd like. I've lost weight and dropped clothing sizes but I don't have the muscle definition that I would like. Hmm, could it be that layer of fat that is still hanging on, hiding all of my hard work???? This new workout should take care of that!!!!! Due to the aforementioned injury I will have to stick to Craig's Turbulence Training Bodyweight Workout 4-Week Program to start. My plan is to take it easy on my shoulder and still get in all the fat burning, muscle sculpting goodness that Craig Ballantyne's Turbulence Training offers.

The contest started on Sunday, December 27th, 2009 and runs to Friday, April 9th, 2010. All transformations must be submitted before midnight, EST, on April 9th, 2010. The last day to enter if you want to complete a full 12-week Transformation is Friday, January 15th, 2010. You can still enter AFTER that date, but you must finish no later than Friday, April 9th, 2010.

There will be a male category and female category. Each category will reward the following prizes.

1st Place Grand Prize - $1000 plus a 3-Year Platinum TT Membership

2nd Place - $500 plus a 2-Year Platinum TT Membership

3rd Place - $250 plus a 1-Year Platinum TT Membership

Wow, $1,000.00 would sure help pay for that tri bike that I desperately need!
