"Several ski areas across the country are conducting charitable efforts during the Martin Luther King Jr., holiday weekend in the aftermath of the Haitian earthquake. The major disaster in Haiti on Tuesday has spurred an international relief effort for the impoverished island nation. On one of the busiest weekends of the season, the ski industry has an opportunity to add to the outpouring of support.
